Born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY

David started playing piano at the age of 15 years. Since then he has been involved in all areas of music.

While attending college at both SUNY at Fredonia and SUNY at Buffalo State, he was involved with the outstanding music programs at both colleges and wrote and arranged several original compositions for the Buffalo State Jazz Ensemble

After graduation he played in many jazz groups and served as the leader of the Buffalo Big Band and assisted many local musicians with compositions and arrangements for their recording projects.

David has also served in local churches as both Music Director and Choir Director where he was creating and arranging music for both choirs and orchestra.

David also has a strong theater background as a Director and a Musical Director . His local theater credits include “Beauty and the Beast”, “Hello Dolly”, “Fiddler on the Roof” and many more. He was involved in the creation of the “Irving Berlin Christmas Show” in which he wrote over 20 arrangements of classic Irving Berlin songs.

In the continuing effect to grow as a musician, David has been a student at ThinkSpace Education to further his skills in Cinematic Orchestration and Music for the Media. His compositions and arrangement have been reviewed by Film and TV composers to very favorable reviews.
